However, these transformation processes often create compounds that can be bad for your health! This is why it is good to make sure what we are consuming.

The only way to be sure of the goodness of the ice cream is to prepare it at home; for sure we will have a fresh and genuine product. To make ice cream at home it only takes 25 minutes plus waiting times to let the preparation flavor and cooling times in the freezer. Let's see how to make ice cream at home using a few simple ingredients.

For our recipe we will not need the ice cream maker; it is enough to use two utensils that are not lacking in hands in the kitchen: a blender or food processor and ice molds; in a few simple steps we can enjoy our fruit ice cream.

Homemade ice cream, the ingredients

  • 250 grams of liquid cream
  • 300 grams of skimmed milk
  • Fresh fruit to taste
  • Ice molds

Homemade ice cream, the procedure

  1. Pour the liquid cream into a saucepan, add and mix the ingredients well
  2. Fill the ice cube molds and place them in the freezer until they solidify
  3. Take the fresh fruit chosen for the flavor of your ice cream, blend it and put it in a bowl
  4. Blend a few cubes of milk and cream and add the mixture to the pureed fruit: the ice cream is ready!

By freezing the milk and cream in the ice molds we will have in the freezer a fruit ice cream base always ready to be blended or, without adding other ingredients, for a fresh and genuine fiordilatte ice cream.

Useful recommendation: only use fruit from organic farming.
